The Brandan fortress was built much like Gothregor, but smaller and much better populated. […] Falkirr bustled with a garrison four times larger than his own. Brandan was both a good and powerful lord. If he bolstered his numbers with yondri-gon, threshold dwellers, they served with a sure sense that eventually he would find a permanent place for them, even if it meant eventually rebuilding the ruined keep across the Silver.
Torisen's narration, Bound in Blood,
"Chapter IX: Scrying Glass", II

Falkirr is the Riverland keep of the Brandan. It is on the eastern bank of the Silver and is roughly in the middle of the Riverland.

History[]

Falkirr was originally an ancient Hathiri fortress, which like all the keeps, was itself built on the site of an even older Merikit hill fort.

Keep[]

In the two Riverland maps,[1][2] Falkirr seems have a simple, square design. It is said to have the same design as Gothregor.[3]

In the colored map, Falkirr appears to be on a hill, giving the keep the high ground should it be be attacked.
