"Chapter 1: Out of the Haunted Lands"

Kessic is the common-script of Rathillien.[1]

It is mentioned three times in God Stalk and not otherwise: on the papers Jame catches when she's wandering the empty city on the Feast of Dead Gods;[1]; on a scroll in Gorgo's hands;[2] and after the untempling of the Tastigon gods, where she sees a creature scuttling along the walls that leaves at intervals a proclamation in "schoolboy Kessic" that "Edolph the Bat-Wing was here… and here… and here."[3]
