Caldane's father was Lord Caineron before him, until his death in the White Hills.[1][2][4]

Cattila considered him a good lord. It's known that he built the Crown of Restormir.[3] As a Caineron yondri, Marc served him.[1]

He was Lord Caineron during the final years of Kithorn.[5] At the time of the books, the Kithron massacre was about 80 years before, and the White Hills 34 years before, meaning he was lord for at least 46 years.

Shanir[]

Like all lords and matriarchs, he was Shanir with the power to bind Kencyr to him.
