[T]he façade of a house covered with small figures carved in full relief that gamboled up the walls, clustered around the windows, and clung together under the eaves, all looking like deformed children, all making gestures that bordered on the obscene.
Jame's narration, God Stalk, Book I: Tatters of Dusk, "Chapter 2: The House of Luck-Bringers"

The Res aB'tyrr, meaning the House of Luck-Bringers,[2] in the Red Wax District, is the inn in Tai-tastigon where Jame lives throughout God Stalk.

LayoutEdit

The Res aB'tyrr has a north wing and a south wing.[3] Abernia's rooms are in the south wing,[4][5] and the kitchen is in the north wing.[6] The inn's kitchen is very large, with three fireplaces. The kitchen leads onto the courtyard and the main hall of the inn.[7]

The inn is built around a courtyard. There's a well in the courtyard, and a stable on the side of it.[8]

The inn is four stories tall.[9] In the fourth story is a large hall, where Jame often slept and practiced the Senetha[10]
